1-10 Fit 1990-2000 Yamaha RT100 Fuel On/Off Valve Gas Engine Tank Petcock Switch

OEM Replacement 3‑Position ON/OFF/RESERVE Aluminum Alloy 3‑Year Warranty

Product Overview

The fuel petcock is the gateway between your Yamaha’s gas tank and the carburetor. When it fails — often due to aged rubber, corrosion, or a stuck internal plunger — you may experience fuel leaks, hard starting, erratic idle, or even an engine that won’t run at all. A faulty petcock can also leave you stranded if the reserve function no longer works. Replacing it with a reliable, purpose‑built unit restores proper fuel flow and peace of mind.

This aftermarket petcock is precision‑engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications for the popular Yamaha RT100 and dozens of other two‑stroke and four‑stroke models. It features a durable aluminum alloy body that resists corrosion and vibration, plus three clearly marked positions — ON for normal riding, OFF to stop fuel flow when parked or trailering, and RESERVE to access the last 10‑15% of fuel in the tank. The 34 mm center‑to‑center mounting hole pattern and 6‑7 mm (1/4″) fuel line diameter ensure a direct bolt‑on fit on compatible Yamahas.

Whether you’re restoring a 1990 RT100, upgrading an older YZ, or simply replacing a worn part on your daily rider, this petcock offers a cost‑effective, high‑quality solution. Installation is straightforward with basic hand tools, and the included 3‑year warranty gives you extra confidence. Say goodbye to messy fuel leaks and unreliable fuel delivery — this valve is built to last.

Key Features & Benefits

✔ Three‑Position Fuel Control
Choose ON for normal operation, OFF to safely shut off fuel when parked or servicing, and RESERVE to access the lower portion of the tank when you’re running low. Never get stranded again.
✔ Durable Aluminum Alloy Construction
The silver‑anodized aluminum body resists rust, corrosion, and impact far better than stock plastic or pot‑metal parts. It’s built to withstand off‑road abuse and years of service.
✔ Direct OE Replacement – No Mods Needed
With a 34 mm mounting hole spacing and a 6‑7 mm (1/4″) fuel line outlet, this petcock bolts right onto your tank without adapters or drilling. Matches OEM part number 367‑24500‑04‑00.
✔ Leak‑Free Sealing & Smooth Operation
Precision‑machined internals and a quality gasket (included) provide a positive seal. The lever moves with a satisfying detent click, so you always know which position you’re in.
✔ Wide Yamaha Fitment – Covers 30+ Models
From the RT100 and PW80 to TTR, TW, WR, XT, YZ, and Maxim series — this valve fits decades of Yamaha dirt bikes, dual‑sports, and vintage street machines. See the full list below.

Installation Guide

Replacing the fuel petcock is a simple job that can be completed in about 20 minutes with basic hand tools. Difficulty: Easy. Tools needed: flathead screwdriver, 8 mm or 10 mm socket (depending on bike), pliers (to pinch fuel line), and a rag to catch any drips.

1
Safety First. Park the bike on a level surface and turn the ignition off. Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent any accidental sparks. Set the existing petcock to OFF (if possible) to minimize fuel flow.
2
Drain or Clamp the Fuel Line. Place a rag under the fuel line to catch any residual gas. Use a pinch clamp or pliers with soft jaws to gently pinch the rubber fuel line closed. Alternatively, drain the tank into a approved container.
3
Remove the Old Petcock. Using a screwdriver or socket, remove the two mounting bolts that hold the petcock to the fuel tank. Carefully pull the petcock away from the tank — a bit of fuel may spill.
4
Clean the Mounting Surface. Wipe the area on the tank where the gasket sits. Remove any old gasket material or debris. A clean surface ensures a leak‑proof seal.
5
Install the New Petcock. Place the new petcock (with its gasket) against the tank. Align the mounting holes, then thread the bolts in by hand. Tighten them securely — but do not overtighten, as you could crack the tank or strip the threads.
6
Reconnect Fuel Line & Test. Remove the pinch clamp and slide the fuel line onto the outlet barb. Secure with a zip tie or clamp if needed. Turn the petcock to ON and look for any leaks. If everything is dry, reconnect the battery and start the engine. Verify that the reserve function works by turning to RESERVE — you should hear/see fuel flow.
